From the time you walk into our doors or during that very first conversation over the phone, we will strive to make sure your Experience with our office is professional, friendly and enjoyable. During your first visit we will be asking a few questions about your medical history, medication lists and any allergies you might have. A comprehensive examination includes a discussion on any surgeries you may have had in the past and any other medical concerns that might be effecting your dental health and overall wellbeing. Dr. Rockwood will do his best to listen to your concerns and begin to tailor a personal treatment plan that is both comprehensive yet easy to understand. Nothing will be done without first discussing and weighing your options.

We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Rockwood Family Dental does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. Please visit with our Financial Coordinator for details.

What To Expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the information needed to provide the best possible care for you. Please feel free to browse our Web site and get to know Dr. Rockwood and our Team members by visiting the Staff section of our web site, this may help relieve any unnecessary anxiety or stress you may be feeling. Bring with you any pertinent medical information such as a list of current medications and allergies. You will start your experience with us as you enter our beautiful reception area and are warmly greeted by a member of our team. As you are welcomed back to the treatment area you will be introduced to Dr. Rockwood and be seated to begin your consultation. In most instances we will be taking Digital Radiographs and Images of your teeth to assist Dr. Rockwood in developing the best plan of action moving forward for your dental health. Depending on the health of your teeth and gums, we may also provide a cleaning during your first visit.
